A PERFECT PENISULA: Loving my Maya Brenner State necklace. 

STATEMENT MAKING: This necklace is light weight, dainty, but statement making.

Why did you decide to create the State collection and which one did you design first? Maya Brenner: “The first one I made was California. I’m from northern California and I had been living in NY and then I moved to LA. When I moved back I wanted to embrace where I was from.”
Why do you think people and celebrities love the collection? MB “I think it’s personalized and people are very connected to where their home is.” 

 THE PERFECT GIFT: I just realized this would make the perfect gift for my sister who loves Miami, but moved to New York recently.

What do you like about Miami? “I love Miami.There’s great shopping, food and the weather. I took a Carnival Cruise. I did it with my boyfriend who is now my husband. I remember going to BED when it was the “in” spot.”
