Today’s post is set deep down in Miami’s city of West Kendall, in open field that has not yet been fully developed ( yes, amazingly there are still chunks of land around like that). The inspiration for the shoot came after I heard Duran Duran’s song "Hungry Like the Wolf” on the radio and really listened to the lyrics. This song is about keeping one’s motivation to go after your dreams. Often times, I see people begin something spectacular and easily give up on it. They have a fear of failure or are too impatient. The truth is there is no such thing as failure if you are brave enough to try and like everything else, things take time to cultivate. It could take a few weeks or years for one to reach their goal, but everything comes at the right time. The key is keeping that unsatiable appetite going when it comes to our heart’s goals. So remember: always stay hungry like the wolf and reach for the stars.
P.S. Miami has a new band called Wolf Whiskers composed of Shira Abergel and Jason Joshua Hernandez-Rodriguez of Ketchy Shuby. Follow them on Instagram.

“A Native American grandfather talking to his young grandson tells the boy he has two wolves inside of him struggling with each other. The first is the wolf of peace, love and kindness. The other wolf is fear, greed and hatred. “Which wolf will win, grandfather?” asks the young boy. “Whichever one I feed,” is the reply.” -Native American Proverb
"In touch with the ground. I’m on the hunt down. I’m after you. Scent and a sound. I’m lost and I’m found. And I’m hungry like the wolf."- Duran Duran
