Sail Away: Miami Through the Lens of Street Fashion at Fisher Island
This month’s Miami: Through the Lens of Street Fashion was all shot on Fisher Island which we decided would be the perfect backdrop to showcase swim and resort wear trends. With Miami Swim Week kicking off in a few days, we wanted to pay tribute to our beloved fashion week all month long. As you know, our project is all about featuring less traveled locations in Miami— and Fisher Island is one of the spots that not many get the chance to visit. The 9 mile long island is home to the very wealthy and celebs such as Oprah Winfrey, Julia Roberts and Jim Carrey to name a few. To get to the island a 15 minute ferry trip is required and access is only gained by knowing a resident. We decided to open up our month long of swim and resort wear looks with Sail Away because it’s all about taking a journey and exploring uncharted territory.
