Match Point Magic: Through the Lens of Street Fashion

For this week’s Miami: Through the Lens of Street Fashion, KarGar and I stayed in Miami Lakes. We did it the same day as our Field of Dreams shoot. The whole time we were working on this one, I kept laughing and feeling like a character in the Royal Tenebaums with the blazer and that amazing Gold Saturn turban. Anyway, tennis and I go way back. It’s the one sport that I’ve always loved because my father played it a lot for recreation. Naturally, I enrolled in lessons with my little sister and that’s when I realized I had missed out on the athletic gene for real. She hit the ball like a pro while mine embarassingly spiraled out in every other direction, but the right one. Doing something wrong at this tennis academy, equaled running laps. So yes, it is safe to say that I spent the hour lesson huffing and puffing around the court in circles while my little sister shined like the next Anna Kournikova. After a few of these tormentous lessons, I dropped out. Oh, well, at least I got a cute tennis outfit out of it.
