Opposites Attract: Street Style Shoot in Coral Gables
Today mine and Kar Gar’s Through the Lens of Street Fashion project shines a light on the beautiful city of Coral Gables again. This was shot on a promenade right across the Hyatt Regency hotel which aren’t common at all in Miami so it was a must. When I first told Karla what I was going to wear to the shoot her first reaction was: “Do you really think that’s going to look good?” I couldn’t help but smile. It did sound a little crazy over the phone, but mixing and matching prints is something I love to do and makes dressing a lot more fun. The great thing about fusing opposing prints is that it pretty much works with everthing well, maybe except for paisley right now. I just got this amazing skirt and I’m trying to still find a match for it. Anyhow, enjoy the pictures.

What I’m wearing: Goodwill blazer and purse, Forever 21 denim top and polka dot shorts, Steve Madden shoes.
